§ Mr. Oldfieldasked the Minister of Pensions if he is now in a position to report any further progress in relation to attachments to wheel chairs for legless men; and whether, in the future, full payments for these will be made from State funds and not charity.
Mr. PalingTrials have been proceeding with a new motor unit, but it will be same time before this will be in production. The question of the responsibility for the future provision of motor units is also under review but I am not yet in a position to make an announcement. Meanwhile the existing arrangements will continue.
