HC Deb 23 August 1945 vol 413 c851W
Captain Marples

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will take steps to eliminate the now prevalent low flying over Wallasey.

Mr. Strachey

Unauthorised low flying is contrary to regulations and is the subject of heavy penalties. There has been some unavoidable disturbance to residents in Wallasey recently, due to an unusual number of aircraft having to land nearby, but this traffic has now come to an end.
