§ Sir R. Glynasked the Minister of Supply and of Aircraft Production if he will reduce the time taken to obtain tyres and tubes for rubber-tyred agricultural vehicles for which a permit has been obtained from the county war agricultural executive committee in view of the importance of doing everything possible to gather in the harvest.
§ Mr. LeonardTyres and tubes for agricultural vehicles are issued as soon as possible after presentation of the permits. There is, however, still a severe shortage of all types of tyres, due mainly 657W to lack of labour, and until that position improves delays may sometimes be unavoidable.
