§ Mr. ShinwellOutput per head for the second quarter of 1945 was 61.1 tons. The figure for the second quarter of 1942 was 70.5 tons. Corresponding figures for the years 1938 to 1944 are in table 3 of the 1944 Statistical Digest (Cmd. 6639).
