§ Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for War whether he will institute an inquiry into the question of corporal and other punishments for East and West African troops with a view to recommendations being made and adopted.
§ Mr. LawsonAs my hon. Friend is aware, this question was considered a few months ago, when it was decided that it would be unwise to make any change in the Army Code at the present juncture. Now that the war is over I am giving my personal consideration to the point.
