asked the right hon. and gallant Member for Rye, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, whether, in connection with the re-afforestation schemes, he will consider planting a substantial percentage of lime trees with a view to encouraging our future honey production.

Large quantities of lime timber are not required for utilisation in this country, and I regret, therefore, that the Forestry Commissioners cannot undertake to plant this species extensively.
