§ Mr. Prittasked the Prime Minister whether he will cause to be prepared and circulated to Members a statement showing in summary form the provisions being made for financial and other assistance to returned soldiers in the U.S.A., commonly known as the G.I. Bill of Rights; and the arrangements for similar purposes made, or being made, in the various British Dominions.
§ Mr. EdenSir: with regard to the first part of the Question, I think it would be 469W inappropriate for me to attempt to summarise the legislation of foreign Governments. I will, however, endeavour to obtain copies of the legislation in question for the Library of the House. In regard to the second part of the Question, my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister will consider if it is possible to obtain and give the information for which the hon. and learned Member asks.
