§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Health what was the average cost per out-patient and in-patient in the hospitals controlled by the L.C.C. and by hospitals controlled by the county councils of Lancashire, Leicestershire and Kent in the last complete financial year before the war.
§ Mr. WillinkAppended is such of the information requested by my hon. Friend430W as is available in respect of in-patients. He will see that I have included not only hospitals strictly so called but also public assistance institutions providing largely for the sick. I regret that no corresponding information is available as regards out-patients.
