GriggThe financial claims of escaped British prisoners of war are being dealt with as quickly as possible, but owing to the subsequent movements of the officers concerned I cannot give an assurance at present that all such claims have been settled. As indicated in a reply to my hon. and gallant Friend on 25th January, 1944, it is very desirable to avoid any public discussion of such cases.
