§ Sir G. CourthopeIn 1924 the Forestry Commission owned in Wales 5,800 acres of land, in 1934 107,000 acres and in 1944 166,300 acres. The number of men employed by the Commission in their North Wales Division was 418 on 1st inst. and in their South Wales Division 207, the number of juveniles (trainees) being 78 and 68 respectively.
