§ Sir W. Jenkinsasked the Minister of Education if any steps are being taken to remove the black-listed schools in Wales as a first instalment under the Education Act, 1944; and will he state the number in each area in Wales, together with the date of the last survey taken by his Department.
§ Mr. ButlerAll questions relating to schools which for any reason are defective will now be dealt with under the development plans as provided in Section 11 of the Education Act, 1944, which must take into account the condition of school premises in the light of the building regulations which will shortly be issued. The last survey of school premises was made some years ago and is no longer relevant.
