§ Sir H. Williamsasked the Parliamenary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport the `purpose of the Motor Vehicles (Authorisation of Special Types) (No. 2) Order, 1944 (S.R. & O., No. 1105, of 1944); and whether these vehicles are likely to cause danger to pedestrians and other vehicles.
§ Mr. Noel-BakerThis Order allows the Petroleum Board to use vehicles specially designed for fuelling aircraft, although the vehicles do not in all regards comply with the Regulations in force. I am satisfied that the use of these vehicles is required; there are not many of them, and, in view of the circumstances in which they operate, I think they cause no undue danger to other users of the road.
