AndersonThe net receipts from Stamp Duty for the half-year ended 31st March, 1943, and for the half-years ended 30th September, 1943, and 31st March, 1944, in respect of English cheques, Scottish cheques, Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes, and Scottish Bankers' Bills and Notes were given in reply to a question by my hon. Friend on 6th July. The corresponding figures for the half-year ended 30th September, 1944, are estimated to be:
