§ Sir T. Mooreasked the Attorney-General whether he will institute a survey of Acts of Parliament over 100 years old in order to ascertain which are appropriate to present day conditions.
§ The Attorney-GeneralWhile it would not be practicable to adopt the suggestion made by my hon. Friend at the present time, my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor and I are considering what steps could be taken to improve the present state of the Statute Book, and I hope to make a statement in due course.
