Friend the Foreign Secretary has already made clear in earlier statements in the House, His Majesty's Government are keeping the situation at Tangier under constant review, and it remains their intention to put forward proposals for the future of the Zone for discussion with the other interested parties at a suitable opportunity. This complex question is at present under active consideration here, and I hope that it may be possible before long to initiate these discussions with other interested parties.
