§ Sir J. AndersonA large number of machine tools have been provided to the United Kingdom under Lend-Lease to enable us to develop production to meet military and other essential national requirements. It is to be anticipated that in due course a considerable proportion of these tools will no longer be required for such purposes and will be available for other uses. It is too early for me to say more than that we are in touch with the United States authorities.
