§ Mr. Bartlettasked the Minister of Agriculture what steps he is taking to have obsolete anti-tank trenches filled in and obsolete barbed-wire entanglements removed in order that the high national production of food may be maintained or increased.
Mr. HudsonArrangements have been made between my Department and the War Office for the removal, where practicable, of obsolete or unwanted defence works and for the restoration of the land 1973W to agricultural use where it is considered to be desirable in the interests of food production. These arrangements are, of course, subject to the necessary labour being available.
