§ Sir R. Gowerasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the fact that travellers now have to carry their own sheets and towels when they visit certain hotels, he will consider the grant to the hotels of extra coupons for these articles to diminish the increase of passenger luggage thus devolving upon transport companies.
§ Mr. DaltonNo, Sir. No coupons are needed for sheets, and, in view of the present scarcity of cotton textile supplies, I regret that I cannot issue extra coupons to hotels for towels.
