§ Mr. A. Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will arrange, at an early date after the war, censuses of production at regular intervals not exceeding three years in all the Colonies.
§ Colonel StanleyA full census of production at frequent intervals would, I fear, be administratively impracticable in most dependencies for some time to come. I understand, however, that the possibility of arranging more limited surveys of production has already been under consideration by the Colonial Economic Advisory Committee in the course of a general review of Colonial statistics which I have asked them to undertake and on which I await their recommendations.
