HC Deb 07 March 1944 vol 397 c1881W
Mr. Parker

asked the Prime Minister whether the Royal Commission on Population is to take evidence upon the more general issues before the technical committees have reported as the Deputy Prime Minister suggested on 1st December, 1943, might be the case.

Miss Horsbrugh

I have been asked Lo reply. I understand that the Royal Commission contemplate that, after a preliminary examination of some of the technical aspects, they will be in a position to consider, and take evidence on, the more general aspects of the inquiry while the technical committees are continuing their investigations.
