§ Mr. AsshetonI think that my hon. Friend wants to know the salaries of heads of all professional, scientific and technical establishments, divisions and major sections within Departments. There are many of these, and they cannot easily be identified without inquiry of Departments. Even so, there is some difficulty in determining what should be defined as a professional, scientific or technical establishment, and what as an administrative or executive establishment. If, however, he would let me know in which establishments he is particularly interested, I will endeavour to supply the information.
