(2) whether he will ask the proposed Royal Commission on Equal Pay to report within a reasonable period of time, say, six months.
§ The Prime MinisterAs regards the composition and terms of reference of the Royal Commission, I have at present nothing to add to the replies which I have already given to the hon. Member. While I have noted his suggestion that the Commission should be asked to report within a given period of time, I doubt whether an instruction of that kind would be either desirable or practicable.
