Griffithsasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of War Transport if he will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT the proposals made by his officers to the various road authorities in Wales, in relation to the increase in the number of trunk roads and particulars of the larger schemes of improvements that are being considered.
§ Mr. Noel-BakerThe schedule of roads to be added to the existing system of trunk roads is still under negotiation with the highway authorities and with their associations. It will, in due course, have to be embodied in legislation, and I would therefore ask my hon. Friend to await the introduction of the Bill which the Government will lay before the House.
