§ Mr. Dribergasked the Secretary of State for War if he will obtain and publish in HANSARD a brief summary report on the conduct and efficiency of the 200 Jewish soldiers who were transferred from the Polish to the British Army, especially of those who have now been posted to units of a combatant type.
§ Sir J. GriggThe collection of the special repots requested by the hon. Member would involve considerable ex-1536W penditure of time and labour at a time when energies are being concentrated on matters of more obvious moment. It would also create an invidious and undesirable precedent if I were to call for special reports on any troops of particular categories, whether of nationality or creed, in the absence of any reason to suppose that their conduct and efficiency are other than satisfactory.
