§ Mr. Hammersleyasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the serious disadvantages under which the industries of this country will suffer by reason of the fact that for five years it has not been possible to give attention to post-war civilian requirements; and can instructions now be given to enable a small percentage of the available labour force to be employed on the preparation of the necessary prototypes.
