§ Mr. Leachasked the Minister of Health if he can see his way to alter the terms of the grant to local authorities for the rehabilitation of tuberculosis patients so as to obviate the unfortunate results of its discontinuance when the patient is found incapable of restoration to full remunerative work.
§ Mr. WillinkThe scheme for reimbursing local authorities' expenditure in making allowances to tuberculosis patients, to which I assume my hon. Friend refers, provides for the continuance of allowances during the period of restoration to capacity for suitable work after successful remedial treatment.
