Alberyasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in the event of the termination of hostilities before 30th June, 1945, he regards himself as free to recommend a withdrawal of the exemption from safeguarding duties in respect of some or all articles referred to in the Safeguarding of Industries Order (S.R. & O. No. 698, of 1944).
