§ Sir J. GriggSo long as the man or woman remains in the Army the answer to both parts of the Question is, generally speaking, "Yes, Sir." The cash issues to Army personnel in hospital are less than the ordinary fixed rates of pay, but the balance remains to their credit and can be drawn when they leave hospital.
