Mr. HudsonMy consent to the dispossession of allotment cultivators on land purchased or appropriated for allotments under the Smallholdings and Allotments Acts is only given when the statutory obligations have been fulfilled. In all other cases I assent to the dispossession of allotment cultivators only where the land is required urgently for housing or other special purpose, and no other suitable alternative land is readily available.
