The output of the products mentioned from animals fattened on agricultural holdings in the United Kingdom is estimated as follows:

The agricultural worker living at home, in addition to receiving the domestic rations and the extra cheese ration, can take advantage of any rural pie scheme which may be serving the locality and can get the special supplies of rationed foods which are available to farmers for providing meals at harvest time. The agricultural worker living at home can thus obtain substantially the same quantity of food as is available to temporary harvest workers housed in camps.
