HC Deb 04 July 1944 vol 401 cc1005-6W
Mr. Granville

asked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the feeling amongst agricultural workers at the inadequacy of the existing cheese ration compared to the extra rations of those temporarily engaged on harvest work; and if he will take steps to mitigate this grievance.

Colonel Llewellin

I see no reason for the alleged grievance to which the hon.

Broadmoor Asylum, during each of the last five years is as follows:

1939 88
1940 83
1941 64
1942 86
1943 69

I regret that the information asked 'or in the second part of the Question is not available, as a prisoner who is removed to a mental hospital ceases to come within the purview of the Prison Commissioners on the expiration of his sentence.
