Mr. G. Whiteasked the Prime Minister if it is his intention to proceed with the Water Undertakings Bill during this Session.
§ Mr. AttleeThe Water Undertakings Bill of last Session was primarily a Measure of consolidation. Some such Measure would probably be a necessary preliminary to the enactment of legislation to deal with major issues relating to water supply, which are at present under review, but I cannot at the moment say whether it will be possible to proceed with it during the current Session.
