Trainees at the Coalmining Training Centres of the Ministry of Labour and National Service are employed by and under contract of service to the Ministry, and, if incapacitated as a result of an accident arising out of and in the course of training, they are entitled to weekly payments of compensation and supplementary allowances in accordance with the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Acts, 1925 to 1943.
