Commander Bowerasked the Minister of Information why the news bulletins of the B.B.C. refer to the Polish frontier as the 1939 Polish border.
§ Mr. ThurtleThis seems to be a convenient phrase for use at a time when there is open public dispute between the Governments of the U.S.S.R. and Poland about the Polish eastern frontier. Many newspapers use the same phraseology and I see no objection to it. I understand from the B.B.C. that the term "Polish frontier" is also used on occasion.
