Mr. JohnstonSo far, 173 of the 228 town and county councils in Scotland have intimated the result of their consideration of the Rent of Furnished Houses Control (Scotland) Act, 1943. Of these 173 authorities, 107 have represented that the provisions of the Act should be applied to their areas.
