§ Miss HorsbrughThere are existing statutory conditions which apply to the selection of tenants for houses erected by local authorities, but it will certainly be my right hon. and learned Friend's wish, as I have no doubt it will be that of the local authorities, that special consideration should be given to the claims of those returning from the Forces, and my right hon. and learned Friend intends to consider in what manner this object can best be achieved.
