Sir J. GriģģI could not give a categorical answer to this Question without considerable investigation. There have been certain incidents but, generally speaking, as far as Field Medical Units are concerned, the immunity of the Red Cross emblem has been respected. No official report has reached me that it has, in fact, been violated in the Anzio area.
