Whiteasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will consider the desirability of giving additional facilities for the purchase of essential furniture to persons who are in a position to avail themselves of the increased limit of expenditure now allowed for the repair of premises damaged by enemy action, in order that they may be able to occupy the premises when restored.
§ Mr. DaltonPersons setting up house after losing their furniture through bombing are already included among the priority classes eligible for utility furniture. In view of the limited supplies available, I regret that I cannot increase the present allowance.
