§ Mr. W. J. Brownasked the Minister of Health whether he is yet in a position to reply to the request made on behalf of the residents of an estate, of which he has been informed, for resident medical facilities in view of the large and increasing population and the fact that urgent medical attention can only be procured from doctors resident several miles away.
§ Mr. WillinkA house has been provided for a resident medical practitioner on the estate to which my hon. Friend refers, and I am informed that the doctor who is to practise there will be taking up 1419W residence at a very early date. In the meantime the facilities available are, according to my information, by no means so unsatisfactory as the latter part of the Question suggests.
