Mr. Granville

asked the Secretary of State for War if he will arrange to place the profits made from N.A.A.F.I. canteens at the disposal of the British Legion and kindred organisations, as at the end of the Great War, so that ex-Servicemen and women can be helped when in need.

In the last two years of account grants have been allotted to Service benevolent and welfare funds. The question of the disposal of net surpluses at the end of the war will be for consideration then.
