§ Mr. Windsorasked the Secretary of State for War whether he will again have inquiries made into the conditions still 1991W prevailing in the camps for wounded and sick in the Mediterranean area where there is room for considerable improvement.
§ Sir J. GriggIt is clear from a letter the hon. Member has forwarded me that his Question refers to one camp only, the one which was the subject of a Question of his I answered on 14th November. The letter adduces very few new facts about the present conditions at this camp, but they have been referred to the local military authorities and such improvements as are possible will be made. I explained in my previous answer that the site is not entirely suitable for occupation in winter, but that for military reasons it could not be moved.
