Mr. HudsonI regret that the information asked for by my hon. and gallant Friend is not available. A statutory obligation to meet the local demand for allotments rests upon allotment authorities. Planning authorities are required to make adequate provision for permanent allotments in the preparation of their town planning schemes, and my officers always have this in mind in their discussions with local and planning authorities.
