§ Mr. Hewlettasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can make any statement as to the shortage of textiles in the different British Colonies and the prospects of meeting it.
§ Colonel StanleyThere is a shortage of textiles, particularly cotton, in Colonies as in this country. I am satisfied that the Colonies are getting a fair share of the supplies which are available, although means of meeting future demands are causing concern.
