Walkdenasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that certain officials in towns in the reception areas, especially in Dukinfield, are bringing 1355W pressure to bear on parents in the London area to bring home their children before Christmas; and whether this action has been approved by his Department.
§ Mr. WillinkNo, Sir, I am not aware that action of the kind suggested by my hon. Friend is being taken by officials in Dukinfield or elsewhere. I have not approved, and certainly should not approve, such action, and if my hon. Friend will furnish me with particular instances I shall be glad to investigate them.
