No major trade disputes engaged the Department's attention during 1943, but many differences of a minor character were referred to it. There were seven stoppages of work, and in four of them work was resumed on the advice of the Department. The Industrial Adviser and 10 others are now engaged in the Industrial Adviser's Department.
