§ Sir J. Mellorasked the Minister of Supply whether he will remove the restriction imposed by Article 6 of the Control of Paper (No. 48) Order, 1942 (S.R. & O., 1942, No. 1817) so as to permit distribution of advertising circulars, printed after 12th November, 1941, and before 14th September, 1942, as large quantities of these circulars still have advertising value, although they will soon become useless except for pulp.
§ Sir A. DuncanAny such advertising circulars printed after November, 1941, were printed with full knowledge that their gratuitous distribution was prohibited by the Order issued in that month, and I should not feel justified in allowing them to be distributed now.
