§ Sir H. Williamsasked the Attorney-General whether he is now in a position to make any statement in connection with the amendment of the law in respect of overseas domicile acquired through women resident in this country marrying persons with overseas domicile.
§ The Attorney-GeneralHis Majesty's Government are anxious to proceed with legislation on this subject as soon as possible. It is, however, a matter about which it is proper to communicate with the Dominions, and while we have already taken this action, we have not yet received an answer from all of them.
