Lyleasked the President of the Board of Trade what steps are contemplated to penalise employers who do not feel able to approve suggestions for either the removal of their existing factory or the location of any part of it elsewhere; and whether this will take the form of refusal to licence or the withdrawal of the use of labour and material.
§ Mr. DaltonIt is not part of the Government's policy to suggest the removal of existing factories, except where this may be necessary under local authority planning schemes.
