§ Colonel StanleyA number of Colonial Governments have informed me of their willingness to grant allowances to their pensioners resident in the United Kingdom on a basis similar to the general scheme prescribed by Section 1 of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1944. I am still in communication with them on matters of detail, and the precise arrangements will be made known in due course.
