§ Mr. M. MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the activities and prospect of extension of the Cefoil industry in the Outer Hebrides.
Mr. JohnstonMessrs. Cefoil Ltd. are the tenants of two factories on the West Coast of Scotland. The Scottish Council on Industry, in collaboration with the commercial firms interested, including Messrs. Cefoil Ltd., are actively exploring the possibility of developing and expanding the collection and processing of seaweed in the Highlands and Islands.
